eJPT Voucher Exchange
Eligible students can exchange their unredeemed eJPTv1 voucher for a new eJPTv2 voucher, free of charge.
Although we are still running our beta program and have not yet shared an official release date for the eJPTv2 certification exam, our clients have had an overwhelming interest in joining in on the eJPTv2 experience. We are thrilled to see the support for this certification pouring in, and we want to help get as many of you access to the eJPTv2 as possible! As a result, we are launching the eJPTv1/v2 voucher exchange program.
How This Works:
1. Review eligibility
Review the eligibility criteria below. Those who do not meet our criteria are welcome to purchase an eJPTv2 voucher once the certification is publicly available towards the end of this year.
2. Start Training
To attempt the eJPTv2 certification exam, you'll need to prepare with course material and practice labs within the PTSv2 Learning path. If you do not have an active subscription, check out one of our 7 day free trials for access.
3. Complete registration
Complete the registration form on this page. You will need to enter your email addresses for both your eLearnSecurity and INE accounts. If you do not yet have an INE account, you can create one here.
Only those who meet the following criteria will be eligible to exchange their eJPTv1 voucher for an eJPTv2 voucher through this initiative.
You are eligible to exchange your eJPTv1 voucher for an eJPTv2 voucher if:
- If you have an unexpired eJPT(v1) voucher with an expiration date of January 1, 2023, or later, and have NOT used any of that voucher’s attempts.
- If you purchased your eJPT(v1) voucher between March 19, 2022 and July 4, 2022, and have NOT used any of that voucher’s attempts.
This means that your eJPT(v1) voucher expired/expires between September 15, 2022, and December 31, 2022. - If you currently have a paid subscription plan on my.ine.com, plan to purchase one, or have a free trial. While a paid subscription is not required to attempt the exam, we strongly encourage you complete the PTSv2 training materials (available with an INE subscription) to prepare for the exam.
- You have a valid eLearnSecurity eJPTv1 infinity voucher.
You are unable to exchange your eJPTv1 voucher for an eJPTv2 voucher if:
- You have used any of your eJPTv1 voucher attempts (initial exam attempt and/or re-take).
- You purchased your eJPTv1 voucher before April 15, 2022.

If you meet our criteria to participate in the eJPTv1/v2 voucher exchange program and would like to swap your v1 voucher for a v2 voucher, please use your INE account information to complete and submit the registration form below.
Once you complete the form below, you agree to the forfeiture of your eJPTv1 voucher in exchange for the new eJPTv2 voucher. Your voucher will be granted after the eJPTv2 is available for purchase and is non-transferable. You will be able to use your new voucher once the certification exam is available for purchase towards the end of this year. Our team will notify you via email when the voucher has been added to your account, and when/where you will be able to access it.

eJPTv2 will be available for purchase during our public launch (date TBA) following the beta and we'll be happy to keep you informed of our public launch.
If you do not have a paid subscription to INE, you are able to sign-up for a 7 day free trial to access the PTSv2 content.
All eligible individuals will receive their eJPTv2 voucher once the eJPTv2 is available for purchase. We anticipate this being between December 2022 and January 2023, but this is subject to change. Our team will email you when your voucher has been added to your account.
The v2 voucher can be used once the eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester v2 certification exam is available for purchase later in the year.
If a client is eligible for the v1/v2 voucher swap program, they have until the original eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester (v1) certification is retired from our website. We anticipate this taking place in March 2023.
Clients can purchase vouchers for the eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester (v1) certification exam until eJPTv2 is available. Once the eJPTv2 certification is available, the eJPT v1 exam will only be accessible to those who have already purchased a voucher. We will remind you when we get closer to that date so you can buy a v1 voucher if you choose!
Clients will have three months to use their eJPTv1 voucher once the eJPTv2 certification exam is available for purchase. After this three-month window, all v1 vouchers will be voided, as the eJPTv1 certification and its content will officially be retired.
Unfortunately, clients who have used one of their eJPTv1 attempts are not eligible for the eJPT v1/v2 voucher exchange program.
No! Since eJPTv1 and v2 are different certifications and cover different content, we will not be able to “grandfather-in” any clients. As such, the eJPTv1 certification signifies a different mastery of skills than the eJPTv2 and needs to be obtained on an individual basis.
