What is Skill Dive and how does it differ from Pentester Academy's labs?
Skill Dive is home to 2,400+ labs and lab collections across cybersecurity, networking, and cloud - exclusive to Skill Dive.
PTA Labs with Better Delivery: INE has updated and reorganized all relevant PTA labs into NEW collections, exclusive to Skill Dive, that align with current cybersecurity challenges and threats.
New Hands-On Labs: INE adds new labs each month, including CVEs, CTFs and more, to deliver continuous, hands-on training. We already have hundreds of cybersecurity labs on Skill Dive that aren’t available on PTA.
Improved Discoverability: Finding labs in PTA was tough - so we’ve improved navigation and discoverability in Skill Dive to get you to the labs you want faster.
Improved User Experience: Skill Dive offers a more modern user interface that makes navigating and using labs easier. Clear outlines for each lab provide an overview, tasks, and solutions.
What is Skill Dive
and how does it differ from Pentester Academy's labs?
Most current and updated PTA labs and content will still be available via INE training programs.
Labs are now available in Skill Dive.
PTA videos can be found in INE Premium subscription learning paths.
Some content and labs that were outdated or no longer relevant may have been removed from the platform.
INE continuously adds new and updated labs to provide the most relevant information to our learners.
What happens to my existing
Pentester Academy subscription?
Your existing Pentester Academy Subscription will be transferred to INE and you will now have access through INE’s Skill Dive. Your recurring subscription billing will resume at the same time increment and pricing as long as it remains active.
How do I login to my Pentester Academy account?
How do I access Attack Defense?
Attack Defense will continue to be accessible until October 8, 2024. After this date, all lab content will only be available via Skill Dive.
What happens to my earned badges when PTA goes away?
Your earned Attack Defense badges will be transferred to your my.ine.com account and will be found on your user profile page at my.ine.com/dashboard/profile.
Will I still have access to PTA videos?
Most PTA videos have been incorporated into INE learning paths as part of the training content and will be available via an INE Premium subscription.
I am interested in Pentester Academy labs, but I keep getting redirected to Skill Dive on INE. How do I subscribe to PTA?
Pentester Academy is being transitioned to Skill Dive on October 8, 2024 and is no longer available for new subscriptions, as of January 1, 2024. PTA labs have been migrated and updated and are now available on Skill Dive. Please visit INE.com to subscribe.

Will I need to migrate my account or transfer any data over to Skill Dive?
You will not need to migrate any of your information or data to Skill Dive. INE will migrate all data, including usage information, completed courses and lab data, and Attack Defense earned badges
How do I know if I have an INE membership?

Are there any changes to the pricing structure?
Prices for Skill Dive and INE Premium Subscription will differ from PTA pricing.
Skill Dive is $299/annually for one learning area and includes 240 lab hours. In addition to existing PTA labs, Skill Dive has been extensively expanded to include new cybersecurity labs covering the latest CVEs, new CTFs, and more. Additional learning areas, including networking and cloud, can be added for $99 each. Check out the labs.
INE Premium Subscription is $749 annually, including training across Cybersecurity, Networking, and Cloud at every proficiency level. Learn more about what all is included on Premium.

No. Skill Dive is currently only offered as an annual subscription.
What happens if I don't want to transition to Skill Dive or INE's Premium subscription?
Your Pentester Academy account will be canceled on October 8, 2024 and will not automatically renew. No action is needed from you.
